MOVER & SHAKER: Roy Davis Jr. feat Erin Martin - What Cha Gonna Do (God Life Music LP) (Nice+Smooth Ultramedia)
"God Life Music" is Roy Davis Jr.'s upcoming twelve track full-length album that is a testament to his love of music. From electro-80’s flavors to cool R&B and back to his Chicago house music roots, the album overflows with quality material. Our favourite is the vocoder-driven melodic house tune "What Cha Gonna Do?" sung by the lovely Erin Martin.

MOVER & SHAKER: Sound of Soho – Take My Love (12" Mix) (Eye Industries)
Here we go again: disco music is reincarnating in contemporary house productions. This is once again when timeless Sister Sledge's "He's A Greatest Dancer" song from 1978 were used in modern dance track. Eye Industries return to the scene with their first anthem for 2009.

MOVER & SHAKER: Roberto De Carlo feat Joshua – Never Forget (Classic Vocal Mix) (GoGo Music)
Roberto De Carlo and Joshua follow up their two highly successful singles "Soulful Things" and "Magic Star" with their fresh outing "Never Forget". Roberto started to produce in 2000 and since then worked in several projects and with different musicians. In 2003 he released his first official remix under the project-name "Souldrops" on the top-label Purple Music. It was followed by two own productions in 2004 "Freedom" together with Inaya Day and the first One Touch "Ready?!" single together with Colin Corvez Rich. His third single release on GOGO Music "Never Forget" features the smooth vocal of Joshua again and we predict that it will be another top tune for them.

MOVER & SHAKER: Dennis Ferrer – Sinfonia Della Notte (Strictly Rhythm)
You heard it here first: the D man is back. And this killer cut spells it large that once again Dennis Ferrer is at the top of the tree when it comes to contemporary US house. Like the best of the tracks on his consummate album, Sinfonia combines old school feelings with cutting edge techniques, electronic rhythms battling it out against classic house piano hooks, all underpinned by that sharply defined production sound. The perfect Strictly release for Summer 2009.

MOVER & SHAKER: Hipp-E – Sweet Sticky (Scope Remix) (Onethirty)
Since earning his first paycheck from DJ'ing at the age of sixteen, Hipp-E has developed into a true innovator on the electronic music scene. His partnership with Halo as H-Foundation catapulted him into the limelight. He was part of the prolific 6400 Crew and pioneered his oft-imitated take on the tribal house sound. Hipp-E has had numerous releases out on some of the more revered house labels from NRK to Freerange to his own imprint Nightshift. A true legend. This reputation Hipp-E has earned for innovative, quality house music is further confirmed by "Sweet Sticky". Pulsating rhythms, moody strings, tribal percussion driving a relentless groove, and spacious, airy effects make this track a must for all DJs working within current sounds in deep house. Belfast's Scope takes the remix reigns for a radical rework of "Sweet Sticky".
